Nature of the Site

Grimes County Released Inmates is an independent reference. It does not store official jail, court, or corrections records. We cannot verify current custody, release a person, or file a record request or legal document for a visitor.

Pages point toward public agencies and other record resources. Some search functions connect users with third-party research tools whose own terms apply.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site lawfully and without harming others or the service.

• Do not violate any local, state, or federal law.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone.
• Do not use site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another eligibility decision.
• Do not seek access to accounts, servers, or data without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, scrapers, or similar automated collection tools.
• Do not interfere with the site's operation or another visitor's access.

No Consumer Reports

Grimes County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service. Advertising and search partners do not provide such services through this site. You agree not to use any site information for an FCRA-covered purpose.

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision
• Tenant selection or any housing decision
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance premiums
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other decision regulated by the FCRA

Links Beyond Our Control

Links may lead to release records, sheriff and corrections websites, government portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. We do not control their content, privacy practices, data handling, availability, or terms. A link is not an endorsement. Review each destination's policies before using it.

Service Without Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of information
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• The absence of errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• The scope or completeness of a partner's search results

Custody status, agency procedures, and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement by a sheriff, jail, court, or government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Grimes County Released Inmates and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Content
